Who Can Order Bitstore Card?
Before you decide to get yourself a crypto card, you should meet certain conditions.
In case this is your first time registering and you are our new user:
- The first and most important step is to verify your Bitcoin Store account, as this is required to comply with security regulations.
- Once you do that, you need to make a deposit (transfer euros to the Bitcoin Store Wallet) to be able to order the card.
You’ll be ready to order your new physical Bitstore Card when you complete all of the steps above.
How To Order Bitstore Card
Step 1: Log in to your Bitcoin Store account
Access the Bitcoin Store platform or open the mobile app.
Step 2: Navigate to the Bitstore Card section
Find the 'Bitstore Card' option in the main menu or dashboard.
Step 3: Choose the physical card and fill in the personal details
Provide accurate shipping information for the physical card.
Step 4: Ensure you have sufficient funds in your Wallet
You must have at least €4.99 for the card, plus delivery costs starting from €3, available in your Bitcoin Store Wallet to place an order.
If your balance is too low, you won’t be able to proceed. Make sure to top up your Wallet and complete a deposit if needed.
Step 5: Confirm your order
Once the payment is completed, your physical card will be issued and shipped.
How to Activate Your Bitstore Card
When your Bitstore Card arrives, you will need to activate it first to be able to use it.
Card activation is simple and easy.
Find the CVV number on your physical card and start the activation process by clicking the button Activate card (found under the tab Physical card). Enter the CVV code and wait briefly while your PIN number is generated.
You will get a message that your card is ready for use, along with your PIN (which you can always check later in the Card settings).
How to Top Up and Spend with Bitstore Card
As mentioned before, Bitstore Card works in a way that it directly spends either crypto (or euros if you have any).
So how does it work actually?
Let’s say you have €200 worth of Ethereum in your Bitcoin Store Wallet and you set it as a prioritized cryptocurrency for spending.
You go to a store and decide to buy a new pair of headphones that cost €50. At checkout, you use your Bitstore Card just like a regular debit card.
Here’s what happens in the background:
- You tap or insert your Bitstore Card at the payment terminal.
- Bitcoin Store automatically converts just enough of your Ethereum (ETH) into euros (€) to cover the purchase—€50 worth.
- The €50 is debited from your Wallet and paid to the store instantly.
- The remaining Ethereum balance stays in your Wallet.
You don’t need to manually convert ETH before shopping—the exchange happens in real-time, and you can use the card online, in-store, or even at ATMs that support Visa.
In case you spend all of your ETH, Bitstore Card will automatically switch to the next prioritized cryptocurrency in your portfolio (or euros).
Managing Your Card in the App or Online
The Bitcoin Store platform and Bitcoin Store Wallet app give you full control over your Bitstore Card. You can monitor activity, adjust settings, and secure your card at any time.
How to Set a Spending Limit

- Monthly cash withdrawal limit: €3,000
- Daily transaction limit: €10,000
- Monthly transaction limit: €10,000

- Go to the Bitstore Card section.
- Select your active card and click Unblock CVV.
Once verified, your CVV will become visible again, and you can use the card for online purchases.

Steps to terminate your card:
- Open the Bitstore Card section in your account.
- Select the card you want to terminate.
- Click on Terminate Card.
- Confirm the action. Termination is permanent and cannot be undone.
Note: Once the card is terminated, it will be deactivated immediately and cannot be reactivated. You will need to order a new card if you wish to use the service again.
Security Tips for Bitstore Card Users
Keeping your Bitstore Card and crypto wallet secure is essential. Follow these best practices to help protect your funds:
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Always enable 2FA on your Bitcoin Store account. It adds an extra layer of protection when logging in or making changes to your account.
Use a Strong and Unique Password
Avoid simple or reused passwords. Create a strong password that includes a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
Never Share Your Card or Wallet Details
Treat your card number, CVV, PIN, and wallet credentials as confidential. Never share them over email, messaging apps, or with untrusted individuals.
Freeze Your Card if You Suspect Anything
If your card is lost, stolen, or you notice suspicious activity, use the freeze option in the app immediately. You can always unfreeze it later if needed.
Monitor Transactions Regularly
Check your transaction history often to spot any unauthorized charges. The app and web platform provide real-time updates.
